Private Work Fees
We offer a number of non-NHS services which will incur a fee to be paid directly to the surgery. This fee is to compensate the time that the clinician inputs into this additional work as non-NHS work is completed outside of their core NHS time.
Examples of non-NHS services include – fitness to fly letters and work carried out for legal or insurance claims.
Prices will vary depending on the type of work being requested and the cost of which is decided by the clinician, taking into account the amount of time required to process
Private Medicals
The doctors at the surgery can carry out private medicals such as HGV fitness medicals, taxi medicals and medicals required during the application process to adopt a child. These are by appointment only and require a different type of appointment to a standard consultation appointment. We kindly request that any associated paperwork that needs completing be brought to the surgery prior to your appointment for the doctor to review before you are seen.
